Inspiration

I got this somewhere. I looked at it. Then I looked at it again.
I wait. Letting it slowly sink into me.
Makes sense. a LOT of sense.

I had to jot it down somewhere, so I grab my phone, pen it down and put it as my wallpaper.

It wrote:

" Decide what you want. Decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work."

Decide what you want.

Sounds so cliche. Fact is, most people don't really know what they want in life. Having more things to choose from makes it even worse. Some people do know what they want in life, but are not willing to pay the price for it. So, they choose not to choose. And you just float through life being bossed around, chasing after meetings, pleasing people, to be even more direct. And there comes a day you look back, and you ask yourself, " what have I done all this while? where am I right now? "

Decide what you are willing to exchange for it.

This is the tricky part. NOTHING is FREE in this world. I repeat. Nothing. You think air is free?
You have to pay to live first. This is a world of EXCHANGE. BARTER. You have to give to get.
Christianity is not "free" as well. You have to give up your old self, your old style of living when you receive Jesus into your life. It's not a really nice and easy thing to do, but definitely it's for the betterment of yourself. ;)

What is it you want? you really really want? And what are you willing to exchange for it?

You know..sometimes I think..to really want something so bad...are we willing to even exchange other people's approval?

Get to work.

Aaah..hear it every now and then? Challenges always start after the heat of the moment. You go to church and you cry and you sing and you give your heart to Jesus but the challenge starts once you step out the church.. Couples face their biggest test after marriage..

Get to work. This is when the "exchanges" really kick into gear. No more talk. Let's see the action.

I hope this inspires you as it really did to me. I'm now listing what I really want in life. And listing down what am I willing to exchange for it. Soon, I will get to work.

Ja.
