Bits and Pieces
Back in AS now. So much has happened. It'll take a really long blog, and a 'rajin' me to blog it all out. So I'm just gonna go by bits and pieces. Heh.
Kuantan was awesome. Went reluctantly, but it was a rest I needed. I think I put on weight there. heh. First dinner was just awesome already. My favourite and coolest uncle and this aunt of mine is the best cook I've ever known. Crabs, squirrel ( yes, you heard that right), chicken, expensive fishes...and to top it up, a bottle of red wine. *licks lips* oh the squirrel? oh, my uncle shot it. Yea. He's a hunter and a top fisherman. wild boars, squirrels, fishes...you name it, my aunt cooks it.
Thing that really touched me was that my uncle and aunt are finally christians. I remember the last time, they still had an altar in their house. Now it's gone. We prayed together and went to church together. My dad prayed for his bro. It's really beautiful. Anyone still believing that their loved ones can be saved? don't stop believing. :)
Missions.
Believing. Believing. Believing.
Pastor Kenneth once preached abt the God factor. leaving room in our lives for God to work. Sometimes there's only that much you can do. The rest is really up to Him. But I'm believing. Believing that God will take all of us there. That nobody gets left behind. Believing that we can make a difference there. That someone there will be touched, that someone there will be able to encounter God. I'm excited not about the trip, but of how God is gonna use us. How we're gonna see people coming back to God. How the lost will be saved. I believe it. Some will say we're just a small bunch of ppl trying to dream big. Well, I dream big. I'm not overestimating this bunch of people, I'm just not underestimating God. :)
Well, results will be out either today or tomorrow. I hope that I can stand with what I've blogged so far.
Do you know sometimes a person can look normal on the outside but there's a raging storm going inside him? Many a times I had to pray for peace. There were a few mornings when I woke up in the morning during missions training, strolled towards to piano and started playing something.
This month of June is a dedication to God. My personal retreat. I chose to put everything aside, and just to focus on Him. Pray wif me ya.
I'm just gonna stop now. Oh ya. Meet my nephew, Joshua. :) He's just seven months old. Beautiful kid. Children are gifts from God. He's just so cute and adorable. heh.
